Okay ladies and gentlemen! I went to my Weight Watcher meeting today, because I worked on wednesday. Anyway, I lost another 1.2 pounds! That makes a total of 21.2 pounds lost!!!! I weighed in at 208.8!!! I am totally stoked!
On another note, Sydney's nurse said that Sydney fell out of her bed today. Her right wrist is bruised. Here is my problem with this story. Anyone who knows Sydney knows that she doesn't move on her own. How the hell did she just fall out of bed? I think she was dropped personally.
Anyway, I am off to bed because I have to be at work at 5AM. Nighty night!

WW on Wednesday 3/25
Okay, here it is. I didn't get to log in last week because our internet was down, but my weight stayed the same as it did the week before. So when I went to weigh in on the 25th, I didn't actually expect to lose any, because I haven't been tracking my points and I've been snacking a lot. But I did it!!!!!! I weighed in at 210 pounds. I lost 20 pounds!!!! I never thought I would be able to do it. It feels great to be 20 pounds lighter. Also, I lost 2 pant sizes. I have gone from a size 24-26 to a size 20 pant.
Here is last months picture: (215 pounds)

And here is this weeks picture: (210 pounds)

On to Sydney......
We had her appointment with the Endocrinologist. Sydney is going next week to have a test run to make sure she is in puberty. The doctor says that once they develop breasts, then a menses will start about a year and a half later. Well, she has had breast development for over a year. So, the doctor said she will either do an implant in her arm once per year, or she will have to get monthly injections of Lupron, both of which will postpone puberty until she is around 10 or 11 years old. Then the doctor said we will discuss what options are good for Sydney there after. So I will update after that appointment. The doctor also ordered a bone age scan for Sydney.
Emily is doing great. She has become quite the talker. Better late than never, right? She still doesn't eat much, but she has a cousin who is really petite also. So maybe it is something genetic. She definitely didn't get it from my side of the family. I say that because no one on my side is petite, short maybe but definitely not underweight. I am short, but I don't think Emily is short, just underweight for her age.
Anyway, I am off to work. I will update later!

Forgot to update
About my last WW meeting. I ate like a cow and figured that I would have gained weight, but lo and behold, I was down another pound. That makes a total of 18 pounds lost! I feel like at tomorrow's meeting that I am going to have gained though. I have really slacked off about keeping up with the points. I hope not.
On a sadder note, my niece (Andrea) is mourning the loss of her grandfather, Frank Strokos, who has been battling cancer for about a year. My deepest sympathies are with her and her father as they go through this most difficult time.
Tomorrow, besides my WW meeting, Sydney has an appointment with an Endocrinologist. We are fearing that she is getting ready to have her first menstruation soon, and this is shocking because she will only be 9 in August. So, hopefully they will tell us otherwise. Anyway, I will update tomorrow about that and my WW meeting!

OH MY GOSH! (WW update)
I ate like a friggin cow this past week. At my Weight Watcher meeting yesterday, I was totally expecting to have put on like 3 pounds. And much to my surprise.....I lost weight again! I weighed 212.4 pounds! Thats a total loss of 17.6 pounds!!!!! WOOHOO!
So Ronnie and I were talking about our trying to concieve journey. I have lost my full time benefits at work and the part time ones are crap. So Ronnie and I decided that the responsible thing to do would be to put our tring to concieve journey on hold until April 1, 2010 when hopefully my full time benefits will kick back in. And hopefully our failing economy will be in a better place! So until then, I am going to lose weight. I don't know if I have posted my goal weight. It is for now, 132 pounds, which according to WW would make me height/weight proportionate. So I am down 17.6 pounds and I have 80.4 pounds to go! YAY! Well bye for now, I am going to eat breakfast and head to work!

Well...(and a weight watcher update)
Okay, so I am not pregnant this cycle, my temps started dropping and I am cramping and spotting. And as of April 1, I will have no insurance. So, we are going to quit trying until next April when I will get my insurance back (hopefully). Anyway, I had a weight watcher meeting again and I lost another 1.2 pounds! I now weigh 213.4 pounds! That is down a total of 16.6 pounds! I am so excited. I have slipped a little this week and now I have to get back on track! But that will be easy. Anyway, I will update more on Wednesday!

Weight Watcher time again!
Well the last meeting went well. My weight was....................................215 pounds! That is a total of 15 pounds lost! I can't believe it! I am so proud of myself. And get this, yesterday at work, I RAN up a flight of stairs without getting winded! That in itself is an accomplishment! As promised, here is a photo of me now along with a "before" photo.
I will update more after next wednesday!

Another meeting come and gone
And I lost another pound! That is a total of 12 pounds! I feel great and really can't wait to go back each week to weigh in. Sydney has a neurologist appointment this wednesday so I may not go this week. So anyway, I will post a new picture next week to compare to my starting picture! Hope I get a good one!

Weight Watcher meeting today went great! Today's weight: (drum roll please).............219 pounds! That is a grand total of 11 pounds lost in just 1 month! Also that is a total of 5% of my starting weight (which I got a 5% star sticker for!) I am totally stoked! Who knew losing weight could be so much fun and so easy to do?! So according to Weight Watchers, my goal weight should be 132 pounds. So I have lost 11 pounds, just need to lose 87 more! I post my next picture on February 12th so I will try to find a before picture of me standing up so we can compare!
Anyway, on to other things. Emily is not eating well. She has lost a pound, and now weighs 17.5 pounds. And she is 2 years old. She should be heavier. I am a little concerned. Other wise, she is a healthy kid. I am going to speak to her doctor to see what I can do to encourage her to eat. She is too funny. She has discovered Elmo. She got a Tickle me Elmo (the one that sits on the stool and tells a story) for her birthday from her GG Ma (that's Ronnie's grandma) and she loves that thing! Now she insists on watching Sesame Street and every time Elmo is on, she will run and grab her Elmo, and hold him and she just keeps saying "Emo, mommy, Emo."
Sydney is doing great. No illness' or other worries right now. She is also pretty healthy all things considered. She is getting a new seating system for her wheelchair, and I will post a pic of her in it when it comes in. probably another 2-3 weeks from now.
Well, I will post again soon. If not in a few days, I will definitely update on my next Weight Watchers meeting!

Weight Watcher Meeting
I have been so busy, I haven't had a chance to come online and blog about my meeting on wednesday. But first, the results of all the blood work that my OB/Gyn did. I do not have PCOS, nor do I have any thyroid issues. My hormones look good, so he really isn't sure why I'm not ovulating on my own. He doesn't want to do the thing where he goes in and looks at my tubes, I think he called it an HSG. He really doesn't think it is a problem with my tubes. He is prescribing me Clomid 150mg once daily again, with me doing OPK's every day from day 10 on. And he wants to do progesterone testing 7 days past a positive OPK. So we will see if that works. Maybe our timing is off or something.
Now on to my meeting. I lost weight again, though not as much as I lost the first week, but still I lost. According to their scales, I now weigh.............222.2 pounds!! That is a total so far of 7.8 pounds lost! And just this morning my scales weighed me at 219.0 pounds! But I am going to go by their scale just in case ours is off.
Anyway, I am off to work now.

Next Weight Watchers Meeting
Is tonight at 5:30 PM. I hope I at least lost a little weight. I have been sticking to this diet for a whole week now. It's pretty easy, though I am still snacking at night. But those snacks are fruit now where they used to be something like a few slices of bologna or some vienna sausages or something like that. And I haven't touched any candy, except for a Take 5 candy bar a couple of days ago, in a whole week. I have been drinking diet sodas, really the nasty after taste just kind of grows on you. So hopefully it has been worth it. In the next 7 days before my third meeting, I am going to try to excercise about 30 minutes per day for at least 4 of 7 days. Hopefully that will kick start some extra weight loss. I am excited about the meeting tonight.
Also, I see Dr Strong this morning at 9:30 AM to discuss further fertility treatments. The Clomid isn't working, so we are going to talk about the next step. Hopefully we can start before my full-time insurance runs out. After April, I am only eligible for part-time benefits at Target. I don't know if they are good though, because they haven't sent out the packet yet. I hope they are comparable to my full-time ones.
Anyway, I will update after the meeting tonight.
Okay, back from my weight watchers meeting. Drum roll please........
My weight last meeting was 230 pounds. This week it is 224.8!!!! That is a loss of 5.2 pounds! I got a gold star with a 5 on it and everything! I can't believe that I lost 5 pounds already! My pants are looser, and I am pretty sure I am down 1 pant size. I totally didn't think this diet would work! I am loving this! I can't wait until my next meeting on the 21 of January to see how much more weight I have lost!
My appointment with Dr Strong went well. He isn't ready to move on to injectibles yet. He is taking a lot of blood work to rule out Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome and to see what my progesterone level is and testosterone level, a TSH, and something else, I can't remember everything. He put me on Provera 10mg to bring on a period. And I will most likely start Clomid again though it could be coupled with Metformin if the labs come back the way he thinks they will. I should know by next week.

New Years Resolutions:
My New Years resolution, well the first one, is to lose weight. So I got my nerve up and joined Weight Watchers. My starting weight, please no picking or laughing, is 230 pounds. My goal weight is between 106 and 132 pounds. I would love to hit 106 pounds, but more likely will stop at 132 pounds. That's 98 pounds I have to lose. I actually started on the 7th. My next weigh in is on the 14th. So far I am having no problems sticking to the diet. I am finding though that I get hungry at night. I am used to late night snacking. So, here is my before photo.
I will post a new photo monthly so we can see my progress toward 132 pounds.
As for my second resolution, I want to get out of debt. That is going to take some time but I have already started contacting my credit card companies. Some are working with me, some not so much. I want financial freedom! I owe another year on the van, and another 4 years on Ronnie's car, and well too many years to count on my home! Here's hoping that in 5 years at least half of my debt will be gone!
